Responsibilities for Hostess
Answer the phone and input customer reservations accurately into the computer
Make daily calls to customers to confirm their upcoming reservations
Greet all customers as they enter the restaurant
Seat customers according to the established plan that ensures all waitstaff gets filled tables
Keep front desk and waiting area clean
Ensure takeout menus, special events information, and cards remain stocked
Qualifications for Hostess
2 years of restaurant experience fine dining in a similar restaurant
Able to answer a multi-line office telephone
Keen attention to detail in order to track guest reservations
Excellent customer service skills
Friendly and outgoing personality
Experience with electronic RESY reservation or similar system
Follow appropriate food safety guidelines
Able to work a variety of shifts, holidays, weekends
Able to stand for long periods of time
